Fall Food Festivals and Events in Myrtle Beach

As the warm summer days fade into the crisp days of fall, Myrtle Beach welcomes a variety of food festivals and exciting events that come along with the changing of the season. Stonegate at Prince Creek is only a short drive from these festive happenings, so make sure to check them out in the upcoming months!

44th Annual Atalaya Arts & Crafts Festival
Date: September 27th – 29th

This three day festival brings in over a 100 artisans from all over that gather among the grounds of Atalaya Castle in Huntington Beach State Park. There is a variety of art to browse through, from photography, jewelry, and pottery to paintings, sculptures and fine art. Entertainment will be provided by some of the Grand Strand’s finest musicians and area food vendors will be serving up an assortment of local cuisine.

Harvest Home Weekend Festival
Date: October 5th – 6th

Brookgreen Gardens celebrates the arrival of fall with their annual Harvest Home Weekend Festival! It’s a huge family event complete with painting pumpkins, building scarecrows, meeting the animals at their Lowcountry Zoo and much more. You can even go for a hayride! After enjoying the festival, make sure to take time to wander the beautiful sculpture gardens.

Myrtle Beach Oktoberfest
Date: October 11th – 12th

Head to Market Common to celebrate Oktoberfest with a wide selection of seasonal beer, food, and arts and craft vendors. There will be a pumpkin patch where you can pick out a pumpkin to take home and an area for the kids to get their faces painted and inflatables to bounce on. Live entertainment will be going on throughout the event, so get ready for a festive weekend!

Myrtle Beach Seafood Festival
Date: November 1st – 2nd

Myrtle Beach is known for its fresh seafood and every fall hosts a festival in celebration of it! Venture to the Burroughs & Chapin Pavilion Place along the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk where you’ll find local restaurants serving up a variety of delicious seafood dishes. There will be activities for the kids, live entertainment, beer stations, and a cornhole tournament. If you’re a fan of seafood – this is the Myrtle Beach Seafood Festival is right up your alley!

Taste of the Town
Date: November 5th

Every year local chefs from around Myrtle Beach compete in a friendly culinary competition known as the Taste of the Town. This annual fundraiser is held at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center and consists of chefs competing for awards such as Best Dessert, Best Entree, Best Booth Design, and People’s Choice Award. There’s a wine and beer garden and live entertainment throughout the evening. This event is a delicious way to get a taste of the Grand Strand!
