We are just one month away from Labor Day Weekend and there are plenty of options for fun activities in Myrtle Beach to celebrate the long weekend! You won’t want to miss out on the attractions and events celebrating the end of summer this year!

Beach

Hit the beach to enjoy the summer weather before the cooler temperatures begin to blow through in fall! Spend the weekend soaking up the sunshine and munching on watermelon with the family before the kids head back to school!

Firework Shows

All summer long you can enjoy fireworks shows all along the Grand Strand but you won’t want to miss the sparks flying on Labor Day Weekend at these locations!

Broadway at the Beach – Sunday, September 2nd at 10:00 p.m.

Barefoot Landing – Saturday, September 1st at 10:00 p.m.

Myrtle Beach Boardwalk – Saturday, September 1st at 10:00 p.m.

Festivals

Labor Day may signify the farewell to summer for most, but in Myrtle Beach, it means festival season! Here are a few happening during the holiday weekend.

Beach Boogie and BBQ Festival – August 31st – September 1st at Market Common Grand Park

Mustang Week – September 3rd – 9th

State Parks & Brookgreen Gardens

Take advantage of the beautiful weather by enjoying the great outdoors at our local parks! Myrtle Beach State Park and Huntington Beach State Park focus on the natural beauty of the Grand Strand and offer many different options for what to do. You can easily ditch the crowd and visit their secluded beaches! At Brookgreen Gardens, you can enjoy the blending of art and beauty while strolling through their gardens. Stay on the lookout for some fall and winter events at Brookgreen!

It’s bittersweet saying goodbye to summer, but we’re looking forward to the beautiful fall weather heading our way!
