Participating in one of these clubs is a great way to do something you love (or discover something you love) while meeting new people.

Chapin Chapters Book Club
Calling all bookworms! If you enjoy escaping into the world of a good book and wanting to discuss all the details, this is the group for you. The reading list contains a variety of novels, including current best sellers. You’ll read and converse over one book a month. The discussion meetings are held from 11 am to 12 pm on the last Tuesday of every month. You might find more than a just a few new book, but a group of new friends as well.

Knitting and Crochet Group
Have you always wanted to learn the art of knitting or crocheting? Or are you stuck in the middle of a project you started? Either way this group has you covered. It’s fun to learn a new skill with others and an instructor is available to teach you the basics of knitting and crocheting. And they are also able to answer any questions, give you tips and guidance concerning projects you’ve already started. They meet every Friday afternoon from 2 pm to 4 pm and only ask that you bring an open mind and your own supplies.

Adult Coloring Club
Coloring isn’t just for kids anymore! Adult coloring books have gained popularity in the past year as a way to relax and unwind. There will be sample pages and colored pencils, as well as relaxing music, but you are welcome to bring your own coloring book and supplies. The schedule varies so call 843-918-1295 for more information. A little creativity and conversation are a great way to spend the morning – and don’t stress about staying inside the lines!

It’s a new year, so what better way to start off 2017 than by trying something new and getting involved in your community. Click here for a full schedule for each of these groups.
